Challenge

Our Client is a multinational consulting firm in the technology sector offering a wide range of solutions and services, including consulting, infrastructure services, implementation, development and maintenance of applications, and outsourcing services. With a total turnover of €375 million in 2017 and a workforce made up of more than 4,000 highly qualified professionals, already has a direct presence on five continents.

This professional will be integrates in research projects for European Commission, which range from electrical engines to catastrophes prevention, water management, nuclear security, among others.

Profile

Here is a non-exhaustive list of the general skills required:

• Fluency in English (mandatory)
• European Citizenship ( mandatory)
• Design and development of information systems
• Programming and maintenance of codes and applications
• Data processing and information management applications
• Production of technical documentation
• Knowledge of software development methodologies
• Java Apache POI and Excel APIs
• In depth knowledge of application development environments (Linux/Unix, Shell, script, Fortran or C)
• Good knowledge of software for postprocessing and graphical analysis of large datasets (e.g R, Matlab, IDL, Python
